Although Bollywood isn’t her prime focus point as of now, Sunny Leone still has a lot on her platter. From her cosmetics range to a big budget multilingual period film, the actress has been juggling and dedicating time to all of them. It definitely isn’t an easy task for any star to prep for a period film, especially a historical tale. And now as a part of it, Sunny has kicked off her horse riding lessons for her next, Veeramadevi.
Readers may be aware that Bollywood celebrities go through extensive preparation and research for historical films. From learning combat to horse riding to sword fighting, it requires a lot of prep. Sunny Leone too, like other stars, kicked off her horse riding training sessions for Veeramadevi and posted about in on social media. She took to Twitter to share a video of her lessons and training.
The video features Sunny Leone galloping with many horses around her. The actress seems to have established a sort of comfort with the animal as she was seen fearlessly giving this shot on camera, despite the many horses that surrounded her. In her caption for the video, Sunny also confessed that she did her own stunts for her first shoot for the film.
Speaking on the film, Veeramadevi is slated to release in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. It is directed by VC Vadivudiyan and stars Navdeep Pallapolu as the antagonist.
Salman Khan has added yet another feather to his cap. This time by turning lyricists for his upcoming action franchise Race 3. The actor has penned a song titled ‘Selfish’ for the film. The song is touted to be a soulful romantic track.
Interestingly, it is heard the conception of the song was an incidental one. It was during a creative brainstorming session where Salman penned the lyrics on a piece of paper. This led to music composer Vishal Mishra to add tunes to Salman’s soulful words.
‘Selfish’ comes next in line, after ‘Heeriye’, a dance number featuring Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez. Announcing the new song on social media, actor Bobby Deol said, “Super excited for my first song in #Race3 with @BeingSalmanKhan and @Asli_Jacqueline! #Selfish releasing this Friday! @itsaadee @IuliaVantur @VishalMMishra @remodsouza @RameshTaurani @SKFilmsOfficial @tipsofficial #Race3ThisEid”
Race 3 takes the Race franchise to an all-time high with action a notch higher and suspense that will leave you at the edge of your seats.
Superstar Salman Khan has been treating the audience with his action entertainers on the festive occasion of Eid for years now, continuing the tradition of presenting a commercial entertainer on Eid, Salman Khan is all set to release Race 3 this year.
Marking the festive season of Eid, Race 3 proves to be a complete festive bonanza, with action, family drama, suspense, romance and promise of blockbuster songs.
Starring an ensemble cast of Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Saqib Saleem and Daisy Shah, the action thriller is undoubtedly one of the most awaited films. Produced by Salman Khan Films and Ramesh Taurani under the banner of Tips Films, Race 3 is directed by Remo D’souza and will hit theatres on Eid 2018.
So, Daisy Shah is a hoot! No one in their wildest dream would have thought that she would be the talking point after the Race 3 trailer released. While there was a mixed reaction over the trailer, it was Daisy Shah’s ‘Our business is our business, none of your business,’ dialogue which BROKE the internet in the most literal sense. So, what was her first reaction? She was enraged and in a fit of anger ranted on social media about the same. She wrote, “To all The people who think they are too smart. Create ur own identity 1st n ‘GET A LIFE’, Wait! I am sure u don’t have any #patheticLosers” But let’s face it, any publicity is good publicity and Daisy seems to have learnt this real quick when her own mentor Salman Khan jumped on the bandwagon promoting the dialogue with a zangy video. Jacqueline Fernandez too did the same.
Now, the Mumbai Police’s super woke social media team has taken this viral meme into cognizance and they took to Twitter to write, “Mind your own data to make sure that no one else takes advantage of it to beat you in the #RaceOfSafety.” The Daisy meme says: My data is my data, none of your data. Well, the actress took to Twitter to congratulate the police and replied with a polite #TooGood retort. This is a classic case of make hay while sun shine and hey, we are not complaining. We are just waiting for other brands to jump on this train and well earn two minutes of fame with this viral content. Daisy has all the reason to celebrate, in our opinion.
Let’s just put it there – Karan Johar is a formidable fashion force! In the now-fashion riddled Bollywood, Karan Johar’s game-changing and fabulous shenanigans with all things modish, quirky and incredible are intriguing to say the least. Exhibiting a rare fluency in the sartorial understanding of what suits him the best, he has tamed the word OTT to the T. Karan Johar and his fashion stylist Nikita Jaisinghani are an amicable duo who never fail to do things differently. Men’s fashion in India is often deemed as underrated and nascent. But storming the scene with that unflinching attitude in tow, Karan Johar quite rightly turned showstopper for the snazzy fashion designer duo, Falguni and Shane Peacock at the Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2018. While he effortlessly dabbles movie production, direction, hosting of his frivolous talk show, Koffee With Karan and debatable acting skills (Bombay Velvet and Welcome to New York), he is also the father to adorable munchkins, daughter Roohi and son Yash. Additionally, he is the quintessential Mr Congeniality of tinsel town, known for those lavish parties attended by the who’s who of tinsel town! Born on 25 May 1972, Karan Johar turns 46 today – it would be quite safe to say that he seems to be defying age and how!
Karan Johar’s Instagram feeds are a lesson in living life to the fullest! A selfie-obsessed signature pout poser, Karan Johar’s fashion arsenal is a delightful mixed bag of bespoke suits (embroidered and classic), metallic bomber jackets, shimmery boots, zany shades and an overload of patterns and prints. Here’s why we cannot stop obsessing over Karan’s obsession for the sassier version of fashion and style.
Bespoke suits – Classic, contemporary and cheeky!
Karan spent an afternoon wearing a sleek suit from Gucci with spike studded Christian Louboutin shoes and nerdy frames.
Karan donned an embroidered Abu Jani – Sandeep Khosla suit with star printed boots.
Gucci suits cater to Karan’s sensibilities; Karan added a hint of subtle drama with embroidered patchwork tie featuring a spaceship, crown, snake, eye, bee and a flower.
Imbibing checks and dots, courtesy of Hugo Boss, Karan cut a striking picture in this suit.
With an innate sense of what does and does not fit well, Karan Johar and his affair with super fashionable outfits and accessories with a bit of flair for the dramatics is what defines his persona. Happy Birthday, Karan Johar!
John Abraham, not surprisingly is on a promotional spree for his forthcoming film Parmanu – The Story of Pokhran. The film, which has already faced immense delay, has finally hit the theatres today. But before that, the actor decided to visit the sets of Kent Cricket Live for a small chat session with cricketer Irfan Pathan.
Kent Cricket Live saw John Abraham bringing in some love for Chennai Super Kings and their skipper Mahindra Singh Dhoni aka Mahi to the pre-show of today’s VIVO IPL clash between – Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad. The segment was aired exclusively on the Star Sports Network on May 22 in the evening.
The segment was aired as part of the pre-show for the day’s VIVO IPL fixture and also featured Irfan Pathan and host Jatin Sapru as the trio discussed John’s passion for Chennai Super Kings and his long-standing brotherhood with Mahendra Singh Dhoni. “He’s really vicious on the field” said John, smirking mischievously.
The actor expressed his love for motorcycles and his thriving friendship with skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni. In fact, John also shared an unusual experience that defines Dhoni’s Athleticism saying, “We once went to my office to get the bikes out and found that the watchman had fallen asleep and the main gate was locked. So, we both jumped from the side and went in. But when coming out we had to go over the gate. I don’t know how he did it but in a few jumps, he made it over the gate easily. I thought if Mahi can do it then so can I, so I ran and did the exact same thing and my pant got stuck in the gate and tore. Honestly, he’s really athletic.”
Fans also got an exclusive sneak peek into John’s upcoming movie Parmanu – The Story of Pokhran highlighting the defining nuclear tests in 1998 that made India a global superpower.
Ranbir Kapoor’s Sanju will release next month and there is already a lot of buzz around the film, thanks to its controversial subject and the fact that it is about the real life story of the resident bad boy of Bollywood: Sanjay Dutt. Many close to the actor reveal that his journey and life experiences are stranger than fiction and therefore will make for a fantastic plot. None other than Ranbir, who is one of the finest actors in the industry today, will portray his character and has already STUNNED masses with his transformation into Dutt for the movie. It is common knowledge that Aamir Khan was approached to play Sunil Dutt, Sanju’s dad, but he turned it down. Aamir just came out clean about this matter and we were rather surprised when we heard about his clarification on not doing the role.
Aamir said that Rajkumar Hirani offered him a good role of the late actor politician and it had many layers as it traced a rather complicated relationship between the father and his prodigal son but the only character which totally excited him was Ranbir’s key role. After reading it, he told Hirani that if he does the movie, it would only be for the central character. The role, according to Aamir, was so well written that he was totally enamoured by it. Unfortunately, Raju Hirani could not offer Sanju’s role to Aamir because he had already signed Ranbir Kapoor for the same.
